Smriti Irani thinks that giving women equality is equal to ‘disrespecting god’. She thinks that god is fearful of menstruating women. She gave a statement on Sabarimala issue which is not only against Supreme court verdict, its also against the spirit of gender equality.
Smriti Irani said, “Would you take sanitary napkins soaked in menstrual blood into a friend’s home? So why would you take them into the house of God?”

According to her women are impure when they are menstruating and should refrain from entering into a temple. This statement is misogynist and patriarchal. A women cabinet minister has given this statement.

Hypocrisy of female cabinet minister is questionable which beleives that menstruating women are ‘untouchables’. Will she say sorry to those women who are fighting to get equal rights?
