Today, is a big day for Indian politics as results of 5 state assembly elections are to be announced. This important as these results are coming just before 2019 elections. These 5 states whose results are to be announced are Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana.
Following are the initial vote share of different parties in these states:-
Chhattisgarh: BJP-25 , Congress-33, Others- 5 In total there are 90 assembly seats in this state for which elections happened) along with 1 nominated seat.
Madhya Pradesh: BJP-56 , Congress-64, Others- 1 In this state there are 230 assembly seats in total and 1 nominated seat.
Mizoram: Congress-9, BJP-0, MNF- 11
Rajasthan: BJP-55 , Congress+ -77, Others- 2 Congress is taking lead in this state.
Telangana; TRS-31, Congress+ – 36, BJP- 4 Telangana has had only one assembly till date and this will be second. Congress’s alliance is leading.
